It appears the crisis rocking the Plateau State chapter of the labour party is yet to be over as the Embattled Plateau State Labour Party Governorship Candidate Chief Ambassador Yohanna Margif appealed the Federal High Court ruling held on 9th December 2022 in Jos which affirmed Dr Patrick Dakum as the legitimate candidate of the party ahead of the 2023 General elections.

In a statement Personally signed by Yohana Margif and made available to journalists on Thursday, 23rd December 2022 after filing the Case at the Jos Division of the Court of Appeal, said he has engaged a team of lawyers which includes 3 Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SAN) to explore every available Legal means to seek for Justice on the matter.

According to Margif, the court verdict of 9th/12/2022 in favour of Dakum who participated in the APC Gubernatorial primaries and came second with 70 votes is a miscarriage of Justice and could make the general public lose confidence in the judiciary system which is the last hope of the common man.

Margif alleged, that the Court did not look at the issue of 2 letters of withdrawal dated 5th/8/2022 and 2nd/8/2022 both attached with sworn affidavits and verified forged which was used for his illegal substitution as the valid Gubernatorial Candidate of the Labour party in plateau state.

While appealing for calm among his supporters and people of Plateau, Amb. Yohanna Margif vowed to seek for Justice.
