A former Minister of Information and strong Chieftain of the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, in Plateau State Ibrahim Dasuki Nakande, has resigned his membership from the APC and joined the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.
Nakande, whose letter was Presented to the State PDP Chairman Chris Hassan on Monday in Jos at the Party Secretariat by Alh. Danladi Kwari, said the decision to join the PDP is a collective decision of the Hausa fulani community in Plateau State.

The Former Minister of State for Information under the President Yar’adu administration described the Candidature of Atiku Abubakar and the PDP Governorship Candidate in the State Caleb Mutfwang as a landmark event and a turning point in the race for the 2023 Presidential and Governorship Election.
According to Nakande, the decision by him and his followers across the State to join the PDP is in the interest of unity and progress of Plateau State and Nigeria.
