The Plateau State Government is repositioning its civil service for better productivity to keep up with a dynamic world.
Governor Caleb Mutfwang said this while receiving the report on the state of the Plateau State Civil Service.
Chairman of the High Committee on the Inquiry into the state of the Plateau State Civil Service, Esther Gonda said the civil service in the state has deteriorated and is in dire need of revitalising.
Governor Mutfwang said his administration is going to muster the courage to effect the needed changes required for the growth of the civil service, part of which was the swearing in of 10 new Permanent Secretaries and Head of Service.
To enhance inclusivity in the state the Governor also sworn in Senior Special Assistants for Hausa, Fulani, Yoruba, Igbo, and South-South communities in the state. AITs Dan Kwada also made the list as Senior Special Assistant for Middle Belt nationalities.
Newly sworn-in Head of Service, Pam Gadong speaking on behalf of the other appointees said they will key into the time that is now mantra of the administration.
