Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, has assured the citizens of the unwavering commitment of his administration to make education a top priority.
He made this known during the official flag-off of the distribution of plastic chairs and tables to Primary and Junior Secondary Schools across the State.
The distribution of furniture is an
intervention aimed at providing conducive learning environment for learners which will go a long way in boosting education in the State as explained by Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board, Sunday Amuna.
For Governor Mutfwang, the gesture signaled a chain of events to follow especially in the provision of infrastructural interventions to the education sector to fill the existing gap his administration inherited.
He also reiterated his administration’s commitment to ensure that the standard of education in the State is raised beyond its present level.
