Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau State has described the recent killings in some parts of the State as a deliberate plan orchestrated to test the resolve of his administration in bringing back peace to the State and also undermine the security and safety of the people.
He said this at the Peace and Security Community Dialogue held in Jos, the state capital with the theme “Domestication of Community Policing in Plateau State: Exploring the Indigenous Options.
These are indeed hard times for Plateau people in the face of recent attacks that left scores dead and property worth millions of Naira destroyed.

The Plateau State Government says it is leaving no stone unturned to unmask the perpetrators of the recent killings.
Governor Lalong said the dialogue aimed at seeking ways towards undertaking a wholistic overview of the prevailing security challenges in the State is expected to come up with the best ways to establlish community policing.
Speakers at the forum say the right framework must be put in place to achieve effective community policing.
It is expected that at the end of the forum modalities will be mapped out for a more effective and inclusive community policing in the State
