Farin Lamba, in Jos South Council area of Plateau state, is on the Major Road linking Abuja-North-Central to the North East, but the road was in the early hours of Wednesday blocked by women and Youths who are Protesting the Killing of Six Miners in the Community on Tuesday.

An eye witness, Joel Pam, who lost his brother during the attack, gave a sorrowful account of what happened.

The Paramount Ruler of Turu, who’s community was attacked described the incident as unfortunate while calling on security operatives to wake up to their responsibilities.

Some community leaders who lamented the Resurgence of Coordinated attacks within the community recently said the Tuesday night attack was premeditated.

As at the time of filling this report, tension was still high, as security operatives were seen making frantic efforts to appeal to the angry Protester for the road to be opened for commercial activities
