Police in Katsina State say, they have arrested a 13-man syndicate for armed robbery and theft of 2 Mercedes Benz cars.
Spokesperson of the Command, SP Gambo Isah said this, while parading the suspects in Katsina, the state capital.
Isah says the Government Residential Area, GRA Divisional Police Officer, raided the hideouts of the suspects based on credible intelligence, and succeeded in smashing the notorious syndicate of armed robbers, terrorising Katsina, and recovered two stolen motor vehicles.

Similarly, the police succeeded in smashing a syndicate of thieves and receivers of stolen motor vehicles, terrorising Katsina and its environs.
The Police image maker further added that, the personnel also arrested an ex-convict and 2 other boys between the ages of 18 and 21, known for notoriously dealing in cannabis sativa and recovered 51 carefully sealed loaves of dried leaves, reasonably suspected to be illegal drugs.
Isah said, all the suspects confessed to the commission of the crimes and investigation is on going in all the cases.
