The Police have arrested 140 suspected rapists in Katsina State in the last 3 months.
The State Commissioner of Police, Sanusi Buba who confirmed their arrests at the Police Headquarters in Katsina said all the suspects have been charged to court.
This was as the Police said about 50 bandits, including the leader of a notorious group, Rabe Abdullahi was also arrested.
The Police command however disclosed that it rescued 20 kidnapped victims in various operations.

Items recovered from the suspects include 9 AK 47 rifles, 20 locally made guns, 2 motor vehicles, 20 motorcycles, two hundred and twenty rustled cows and the sum of Six Hundred and Eighty-Five Thousand Naira.
