The Bauchi State Police Command has announced the arrest of youths suspected to be “Sara Suka” gang members, numbering about 20 who allegedly attacked the office of the Committee On Security, located at Kofar Dumi in Bauchi metropolis and burnt their Hilux van.
Reports say 6 members of the security committee also sustained various injuries and were rushed to the Bauchi State Specialist Hospital for treatment.

“Sara Suka” is a Hausa term that means, “cut and stab.” They are a group of young youths, who terrorise the people, especially within Bauchi State capital.
According to a statement signed by police spokesperson, Ahmed Wakil, on receiving the report, the Commissioner of Police, directed the tactical team to arrest the perpetrators.
The team, led by the Commander, RSS swung into action and effected the arrests.
