Police operatives have apprehended nine suspects for various offences in Zamfara State.
The suspects include a fake lawyer, Chukwuka Jude, 46 years old who was picked inside the Higher Sharia Court, Tudun Wada Gusau metropolis acting as a lawyer to client.

The various other offences range from impersonation, false presentation, kidnapping, culpable homicide, conspiracy, theft of vehicle among others.
The Public Relations Officer of the Zamfara State Police Command, Superintendent Mohammed Shehu who paraded the suspects on behalf of the Commissioner said Saminu Abubakar 30 years old was arrested for kidnapping of one Yusuf Dare at his residence at Gada Biyu area in the Gusau metropolis in 2019 and a ransom of N7 Million was paid to the kidnappers.
The police in Zamfara State said that as part of its ongoing efforts to flush out criminals and criminalities in the State, they have arrested a fake lawyer Chukwuka Jude, 46 years old and 8 Suspects for different offences which ranging from impersonation, false presentation, kidnapping, culpable homicide, criminal conspiracy, theft of vehicle among others.
It recovered Four Hundred and Seventy Nine thousand, four Hundred Naira (479, 400), Cutlass, fake plastic Identity card, stamp, Letter headed carrying titled of J. N Monyei & co. Chamber, Samsung Tablet among others.
The Police Public Relations Officer Superintendent Mohammed Shehu said Police operatives acted on credible intelligence which led to the arrest of the 9 suspects including the fake lawyer Chukwuka Jude.
Jude confessed he acted as lawyer to a client he charged one hundred thousand naira and he has only collected twenty thousand three naira of the said amount.
The Zamfara State Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association NBA, Junaidu Abubakar commended the Nigeria Police for the prompt arrest of the fake lawyer who he said has been going about tarnishing the image of the profession in the State.
The Police said that all the 9 suspects would be charged to court for trial and prosecution after investigations are concluded.
