Police arrest man for allegedly molesting 13-year old boy in Bauchi

The incessant cases of molesting in Bauchi have again taken another dimention as one Yusuf Yakubu, 28 years old, has allegedly committed a homosexual crime, by molesting a 13-year-old son in Bauchi.

In a press statement issued by the Bauchi State Police spokesman, Ahmed Wakil, said on the 23rd, at about one pm, one Usman Ahmed of Anguwan Doya, Gombe Road in Bauchi, reported at the “A” Divisional Headquarters of the Police in Bauchi, that on the same date, at about 1100hrs, one Yusuf Yakubu, aged 28 years, of Bayan Ganuwa, lured his son, 13 years old, to his house, situated at Bayan Ganuwa area, and forcefully had anal-sexual intercourse with him.

According to the statement, the police was drafted to the scene and took the victim to the hospital for medical treatment, and arrested the suspect who confessed to the crime.

The statement further says that the suspect will be charged to court after proper investigation.
