The Kano State Police Command says it has arrested a mother for allegedly kidnapping her biological daughter for ransom at Madobi Local Government Area of the state.
The Commissioner of Police in Kano, CP Usaini Gumel, disclosed this while parading the suspect at the Police Headquarters in Bompai Kano.

CP Usaini Gumel who assumed office nine days ago, said his leadership will leave no stone unturned in terms of enhancing the security of the lives and properties of the general populace.
All suspects who confessed to the crime will be charged in court, upon the completion of investigations.
