A syndicate involved in fake recruitment of persons into the Nigeria Customs Service as well as other government and private organisations have been arrested by the Nigerian police.
The Nasarawa state police command in a press statement made available to journalists in Lafia, the state capital noted that its investigation shows that the syndicate has defrauded the public of over Eleven Million Naira.


The Command ‘s Public Relations Officer, DSP Ranham Nansel explained that the 2 suspects one Emmanuel Micheal aged 42 operating a private security guard service in Abuja and Jerry Aruwa, a 47 years old resident of Kabusa area of FCT Abuja were arrested.
A manhunt has also been launched for one Kyari Nehemiah a principal suspect in the criminal activity who is on the run.
Five fake appointment letters of the Nigeria Customs Service were recovered from them as exhibits.
