Police arrested 15 suspected criminals for various offences in Katsina

No fewer than 15 suspected criminals are in the Katsina State Police’s net for various offences.

They include four suspects arrested for kidnapping and involvement in terrorism.

Another suspected terrorist and 10 other suspected fraudsters dealing in counterfeit currencies were also included.

Police spokesman, Assistant Superintendent, ASP Abubakar-Sadiq Aliyu, while parading the suspects at the command’s headquarters, added that items recovered from them include 3 rounds of 7.62mm live ammunition, a bottle containing liquid suspected to be mercury, and one hundred and forty-four pieces of suspected counterfeit Naira notes of one thousand denomination.

While warning that the command will not fold its arms for criminals to operate in the state, he said the Commissioner of Police, CP Aliyu Musa, has put men and officers of the command on red alert.
