The leadership of Zone 14 of the Nigeria Police has assured residents of Kaduna and Katsina states of their security while vowing to crush terrorists operating in and around the two states.
The Deputy Commissioner of Police(DCP) in charge of the Criminal Investigation Department of the zone, Marvelous Ikorouvbe, gave the assurance while decorating one of its officers, Babangida Abdullahi, recently promoted from Superintendent to Chief Superintendent of Police.
DCP Ikorouvbe, shortly after the ceremony, reminded the newly decorated officer that the fight against terror is not yet over, describing more work as reward for the promotion.
He further used the medium to reassure residents that the command will not rest until it completely defeats the terrorists disturbing their peace.
Zonal command spokesman, Assistant Superintendent of Police, Shehu Suleiman described the newly promoted CSP Babangida Abdullahi as a courageous and brilliant officer, whose elevation will further bring out the best in him
