The Plateau State Command has arrested some suspects in connection with the assassination of the Special Adviser to Governor Ortom on Security, Christopher Dega, AIG rtd.
Confirming the assassination of the Retired police AIG to ait.live, Spokesman of the Plateau State Police Command, ASP Gabriel Ubah, said the Command received the ugly report of the death of AIG Christopher Dega, Rtd On 31/05/2021 at about 2030hrs.

According to the Police Spokesman, the Rtd AIG was shot dead by yet-to-be-identified gunmen at a restaurant in Bukuru, Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State.
The police said investigation also revealed that the late AIG Dega retired who arrived at Jos from Makurdi on the same date at about 1930hrs was trailed and shot.
