Police in Ebonyi state has debunked reports of suicide bomb explosion in the state.
There was tension in the State Tuesday following an explosion in Afikpo North Local Government Area of the State.

Details of the incident are still sketchy , but some sources say a suicide bomber was blown to pieces when a suicide vest he was wearing exploded on his body.
In a reaction, the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Loveth Odah, says the incident was not a suicide bombing attempt but an accidental discharge of a hangrinate that killed a mobile personnel who was handling it.
