In a bid to curb the unlawful possession and distribution of fake drugs to unsuspecting Nigerians; the Delta State Police Command has handed over a truck load of suspected fake drugs to the National Agency for Food and Drugs Administration and Control NAFDAC.
The confiscated truck load of suspected fake drugs was intercepted by officers of the State Police Command on a Stop-and-Search operation along Asaba-Ughelli-Warri road.
After successfully intercepting the truck load of suspected fake drugs and other pharmaceutical products, the Police handed the consignment to NAFDAC for assesment and prosecution.

Receiving the seized items, NAFDAC assured wholistic assessment of the suspected fake drugs.
The State Police Command advised members of the public to be wary of fake drugs.
