The Kano Police Command has expressed readiness to tackle any security challenge that might arise during the local government councils election in the state.
The Public Relations Officer of the outfit DSP Abdullahi Kiyawa said over ten thousand police officers were officially deployed and no movement will be allowed during the election process slated to hold on 16th of January 2021.
Kiyawa added that police emergency contact has been made available in case of any emergency or election violence.

Kiyawa advised the citizen to be law abiding and shun any violent conduct during the election.
At least Ten thousand police officers and men will maintain security,law and order during the local councils election in Kano state northwest Nigeria.
