Police in Osun parade 3 murder suspects

Police in Osun state have paraded one Abbas Adio who claims to be a medical doctor for injecting a man with an undisclosed substance which the police say ultimately killed him

The 36 year old suspect who is also accused of stealing his victim’s car was arrested along Ejigbo/Ogbomosho road following a distress call from Edo state police command.

was paraded alongside other suspects at the Osun police headquarters by the state police commissioner, Wale Olokode who was represented by the command’s PPRO, Yemisi Opalola.

Opalola said the first suspect, Abbas Adio resides in Kwara state but travelled to Benin where he sold the stolen car for 1.4 million naira.

According to police investigation, he was said to have dumped the victim’s corpse in a nearby bush and made away with his car before he was later arrested.

Two other suspects Wahab Hammed, 28 and Adegoke Ayobami 31, were also paraded at the police command.

The duo confessed to have conspired and killed a friend in an uncompleted building in Modakeke town with the intention to make away with their victim’s money.

The state PPRO called on the public to work with the police in information sharing as a first step in tackling crime at all levels.
