At least 3 suspected bandits and a notorious informant, have been killed by the Police Anti-Banditry team in Niger State, North-Central Nigeria.
The 4 persons were killed in a gun battle in Dogon Fadama, in the Kontagora Local Government Area of the State.

Buba Baromi who is the informant was gunned down at Damba Forest, where he was hiding.
Baromi, who had earlier sustained gunshot injuries, in an earlier encounter, met his waterloo, during a fierce fire exchange with policemen.
It was gathered that the Baromi, had led different teams to carry out deadly attacks and abduct numerous persons.
The Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Wasiu Abiodun, could not be reached for reaction to the development
