The Joint Security Patrol Team in Ekiti State has freed two persons abducted in Ilupeju Ekiti, about four days ago.
The security team, according to the police, also killed one suspected kidnapper in the cause of delivering ransom payment of about two million Naira, with others escaping with wounds.
The state’s Police Public Relations Officer, Sunday Abutu, disclosed this to newsmen on Thursday in Ado Ekiti.

The killing of the suspected kidnapper according to the police spokesman, happened along the border towns of Ekiti and Kwara States.
The police also noted that efforts are ongoing to track the other fleeing kidnappers.
