Police Nab 2 Suspects-a Herbalist and brother, exhumes Remains of two Victims in Delta state

Delta State Police Command arrest a native doctor and his brother for alleged killing of his supposed client 22yr old Liberty Friday and Isioma 20yr old motorcycle rider popularly known as okada that brought the victim to his shrine.

The decayed remains of the two victims initially declared missing by their families on 30th September this year through police intelligent led investigation were discovered inside a soakaway pit in the native doctors compound

This bizarre happened in Ika Aladimma in Ika North East Local government area of Delta state. The conspiracy was between a 20 year old herbalist Okwokenye Amechi who said he inherited the shrine from his late father and his 26 Yr old half brother Smart Okwokenye. The duo in their confession said, they were in agreement to kill their client and the okada man that brought him reasons best known to them.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe who addressed journalists after the remains of the two victims where exhumed from a soakaway pit explained that information given by the girl friend to the late Liberty Friday helped the police to nab the two suspects who had earlier denied knowledge of their victims whereabout.

The Police Pro said considering the pathetic sight of their remains further investigation will unravel if chemical was used on their corpses. He stressed that nobody commits crime and go scotch free especially when it has to do with taken human life.

Ogbaku Jonas elder brother to the late Liberty Friday said their mind is at rest having found the corpse of their brother and his killers even as he was yet to reconcile the circumstances surrounding his brothers visit to the herbalist shrine in the first place.

According to him, his family and the entire community demanded that the suspects currently in police custody should be brought to book
