Police Nab Notorious Rapist in Katsina

A 51-year-old suspected notorious serial rapist, Jabiru Audu of Tudun Yanlahidda Quarters in Katsina Metropolis is currently cooling his feet at the state’s command of the Nigeria police for allegedly raping 5 minors.

The spokesman of the Police Command Gambo Isah said in a statement that, Audu was arrested based on a report by the trio of Adamu Salisu, Ibrahim Sani and Hajara Usman all of Tudun Yanlahidda Quarters, Katsina at the Central Police Station, Katsina that on several occasions the suspect had been luring and raping their young daughters (names withheld) who are aged between 4 – 12yrs, at the grandmother’s house of one of the victims, who hawked fried bean cake.

According to the statement, “In the course of investigation, the suspect confessed to have lured the young girls severally and had unlawful sexual intercourse with them”.

Isah further added that, Investigation is still ongoing.

The command spokesman also said, it also succeeded in arresting a suspected car thief, Aliyu Hussain of Kofar Sauri Quarters, Katsina who stole a Honda civic 2000 model valued at 570,000 naira from Service to Humanity Event Center, Gidan Dawa Quarters katsina.
