Police in Niger State say they have arrested 4 suspects planning to sell a suspected stolen truck, along the Kaduna-Abuja Motorway, at Dikko in the state.
According to Police spokesman, Superintendent Wasi’u Abiodun in a statement, said the suspects were arrested based on credible intelligence.
As a result of the report, the Divisional Police Officer led his team to arrest the four persons, aged between 24 and 29, who are indigenous people of Kogi State.

Abiodun added that the suspects were arrested with a yellow truck bearing the registration number. No LKJ 370 XJ, and that, during interrogation, one of the suspects confessed that he drove the said truck, which hitherto had been under his care as a driver of the company he works for.
He said that 2 of his accomplices were mechanics hired to accompany him, in case the vehicle developed any fault on the way.
According to the statement, the said company was contacted and confirmed proof of ownership of the vehicle, adding that the case will soon be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation.
