Police in Katsina State say they have intensified fight against Terrorists as they repelled a fresh attack on Badole Village in Kurfi Local Government Area of the state.
In a statement by the spokesman of the command, Superintendent Gambo Isah, the incident occurred on January 15 when the Terrorists’ in their numbers attacked the village and rustled unspecified number of domestic animals.
According to the statement, following a distress call received by the command, the Divisional Police Officer of Kurfi, Superintendent Sama’ila Shuaibu, led a combined team of police and vigilante to block their exit route at Yar’runfar Koza village in Kurfi Local Government Area.
Isah said the team engaged the terrorists in a gun duel leading to the death of many terrorists while all the rustled animals were recovered.
