Police rescue 2 wives in chain for over 10 months

The Katsina state police command has arrested a 30 year old suspected cultist Sama’ila musa for chaining and enslaving his two wives for over ten months.

Spokesperson of the command, Gambo Isah stated this while parading the suspect before newsmen at the command headquarters in Katsina.

Isah says a team of policemen led by the Rimi divisional police officer discovered the house at Yan’nabayye village of Rimi local government area of the state, following intelligence report.

The 2 victims, who are wives of the suspect were rescued with marks and signs of brutalization all over their bodies. They were also during their enslavement denied access to toilet facilities among other dehumanizing acts. They allegedly defecate in the same room where they were chained, their hair barbed for ritual purposes by the suspect who also pour grinded pepper in their private parts and eyes during their menstrual periods.

The suspect also ask the victims to clean up semen with cloths after having sex with both of them and ask them to drink the water, among other devilish occultist acts”.

 The suspect, Sama’ila Musa who did not deny the allegations said, he chained the victims as punishment for cheating on him and to keep an eye on them.

One of the victims, 20-year old Fatima Salisu denied the claims of promiscuity.

 Isah further said, the suspect will be charged to court as soon as investigations into the case is concluded.
