A joint patrol team of the police and vigilante group in Gamawa Local Government of Bauchi State, northeast Nigeria, have arrested three suspects at Wabu Forest, Udubo district, in connection with vandalized high tension electric cables valued at 2.3 million Naira.
According to a statement released by the police in Bauchi, signed by its spokesman, Ahmed Wakil, the suspects had confessed to the crime since May and said that they have vandalized electric cables in Bulawudo and Kesa Village in Gamawa Local Government Area of Bauchi State for about five times.
Exhibits recovered from them include, twenty two rolls of electric wares, one hacksaw and one golf motor vehicle, among others.

According to the statement, investigation is ongoing after which, the suspects will be charged to court.
