Politics: Atiku support group meets North Central Zone

The national support group for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has called on Nigerians from the North central zone to look beyond sentiment, religion or ethnic considerations in search of a candidate for president in 2023.

The group led by high chief Raymond Dokpesi paid a courtesy visit to the national headquarters of the north central peoples forum in Abuja.

Highlighting the various national security and economic challenges, the group says Nigeria needs an experienced man capable of uniting the country .

The group called on the north central zone to accept Alhaji Atiku Abubakar if he declares intention to run for the position of president in 2023, describing him as a Nigerian with the perfect attributes to lead the country out of its current state.

The north central peoples forum appears happy and content with the suggestion to put forth the former vice president as a candidate in 2023, saying he has great faith in the country and is willing to make the necessary sacrifice to see Nigeria through to greatness.
