The National Poverty Reduction with growth strategy committee, Chaired by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo says it has so far spent over 50 billion naira on the implementation of the programme.
Governor of Nasarawa state and co-chairman of the committee, Abdullahir Sule briefed state house correspondents after meeting with the technical working group of the committee to review the implementation and update on the spending so far and to receive approval for this year’s spending.

The poverty reduction with growth strategy committee was inaugurated by President Mohammadu Buhari in June 2021 and the steering committee chaired by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo in July 2022 gave approval for the disbursement of 400 billion Naira and distribution of houses to beneficiaries.
