The Nigeria bulk electricity trading company on Friday revealed that the Federal government pays about 30 million dollars monthly to the Azura contractors whether or not the power generated is utilised.
The managing director of the company who appeared before the committee on Finance investigating the alleged breaches in several agreements in the power sector further disclosed that the “take or pay” deal is for a period of 20 years.
