The Original Inhabitants of the Federal Capital Territory, say urgent steps should be taken to address the obvious marginalisation of Abuja natives in the scheme of things in the country.
The Executive Director, Centre for transparency advocacy Faith Nwadishi said this during a media forum and inauguration of schools competition in Abuja focusing on the culture of FCT Original Inhabitants.
The original Inhabitants of the federal capital territory have continued to call for increased support and participation of secondary school students in the FCT.
The thinking being that such efforts like poetry, Arts and Drama would help to promote the cultural heritage of the indigenous people of the FCT.

The group noted that involving the children will greatly advance political and cultural heritage of the original inhabitants of the FCT.
Those at the vanguard of promoting the cause of the original Inhabitants of the FCT expressed optimism that the myriads of challenges confronting the Abuja natives will be solved.
