Presidency Defends Buhari’s Display Of Ballot Paper After Voting

The Presidency says the decision of President Muhammadu Buhari to display his ballot paper, with thumb print for All Progressives Congress’ (APC) Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is to dispel any rumor on the social media on who the President cast his vote for.

Senior Special assistant to the president on media and publicity Garba Shehu told ait.live in Daura, Katsina State that the President is not ashamed to have done that.

Asked about the impact of the currency redesign policy on the election, Shehu said the Policy is aimed at taming politicians who believe they can buy their way to elective offices.
