Unveiling of the African Democratic Congress, ADC as a unifying political platform ahead of the 2027 elections for Nigeria’s opposition on Wednesday in Abuja has sparked reaction from the Presidency.

Presidential spokesperson, Daniel Bwala has weighed in on the development, casting doubt on the party’s potential to make a meaningful impact.

He described the party as a “dead-on-arrival” entity, comprising of “internally displaced politicians.”

Bwala in a post on also quoted former Labour Party Presidential candidate, Peter Obi as describing the party as a “structure of criminality.”

According to Bwala, the ADC is an attempt by politicians to cling to power and relevance.
