President Buhari inaugurates road infrastructure projects in Nasarawa State

President Muhammadu Buhari says his administration remains committed to the implementation of all projects, policies, agreements and contracts that will improve the lives of Nigerians.

The President made this declaration in a message at the inauguration and hand-over of the constructed hydraulic structures and some road projects along Tudun Wada in Karshi Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.

For several years, the people of area suffered the devastating effects of flooding along the river banks which cuts them off from the main town due to bad road network and a failed bridge which links it with other neighbouring villages.

Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha while delivering the President’s message said with the bridge, roads and structures now in place, it will address the serious erosion problem, restore vehicular and pedestrian movements across the river and also reduce the dangers posed to lives and property.

Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule commended the Federal Government for the gesture as the projects will meet the needs of the people in area.

The Emir of Karshi, Sani Bako promised that the project and investments will be well maintained and safe guarded by the community.

The road infrastructure project, the people added will end the long suffering on the road. They also called for intervention in other areas which require such government attention.
