President Buhari receives newly-appointed DG, WTO at the Villa

President Muhammadu Buhari is currently meeting with the newly appointed Director-General of the World Trade Organisation, WTO, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Former Nigeria’s Finance Minister and Coordinating Minister of the economy arrived in the country on Saturday on a five-day working visit, two weeks after she assumed leadership of the global body.

In her delegation are the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Niyi Adebayo, Foreign Affairs, Geoffery Onyeama, and Minister of State Industry, Trade and Investment, Maryam Katagum.

Dr.Oknonjo-Iweala is expected to address the media after the visit.

Her visit to the country is designed to enable her appreciate the support of the Federal Government towards her emergence.
