Thursday February 24th, 2022 has been declared as public holiday in Nasarawa State by the government to welcome President Muhammadu Buhari on a 2-day working visit to the state.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Barrister Muhammad Ubandoma Aliyu
The statement enjoined people of the state to come out en-masse to give the President “a rousing welcome in line with the traditional hospitality, which Nasarawa State is known for.
President Buhari is expected to commission some legacy projects executed by the present administration notably the ₦41bn Lafia Airport, Emir’s Palace Lafia and the bus terminals among others.
