President General Ohaneze Ndigbo visits Orlu, preaches peace, unity

The President General of Ohaneze Ndigbo, George Obiozor says, for Nigeria to achieve greatness, peace and unity must endure among the states.

Obiozor said this when he visited the traditional ruler of Orlu, Imo State, to deliberate on the presence of Joint military and Police operations in Orlu Local Government Area and neighbouring communities.

He condemned the use of violence and intimidation against the people, saying the result could only be catastrophy. Obiozor was also delighted that the South-Eastern part of Nigeria was now relatively peaceful.

Recently, reports had it that the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, IPOB, had established illegal camps, in the Orlu area.

However, peace and calmness has since returned to the area.
