President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of four new Permanent Secretaries into the Federal Civil Service on a bold step toward strengthening leadership and improving service delivery across government institutions.
In a statement from the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries are:
Warrens Bekearedebo Augusta from Bayelsa State, Jones-Nebo Nkiruka Bella from Enugu State, Aminu Sani Yargaya from Kano State, and Shoretire Ayinda Kamil from Ogun State.

The appointments which are to fill existing vacancies within the Federal Civil Service, followed a rigorous and transparent process.
Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Didi Esther Walson-Jack has congratulated the appointees noting that the new Permanent Secretaries bring with them years of experience and expertise, which are expected to strengthen public service delivery and support the government’s development agenda.
The appointments take effect immediately.
