President Bola Tinubu has been criticised for failing to honour workers’ invitation to Labour Day celebration since his inauguration in 2023.

President of Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities , SSANU, Mohammed Haruna who made the criticism said the president is becoming one of the country’s worst leaders due to his seemingly unfriendly and poor-workers relation.

He said the President’s policies which have not been so proven to be pro-people and pro-poor explain the reason for his absence at such an important and global event as Workers’ Day.
