President Bola Tinubu has held a closed-door meeting with Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The meeting comes after Governor Oborevwori’s recent defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), alongside Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, the former Vice Presidential candidate of the PDP.

Governor Oborevwori arrived at the Presidential Villa at around 4 pm on Tuesday and was led into the President’s office.
This meeting marks the first time the Governor has met with President Tinubu since his defection to the APC.
The details of the meeting are yet to be disclosed, but sources suggest that the discussion may focus on the governor’s new allegiance and potential collaboration between the Delta State and Federal governments.
