President Tinubu Ends Official Working Visit To Enugu After Commissioning Landmark Projects

ENUGU

President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja after a one-day state visit to Enugu State.

While in the state, the president called on Nigerians to shun negative narratives about their country and embrace a positive outlook, commending
Governor Peter Mbah for his unwavering dedication to human development.

The president’s packed schedule, including the commissioning of strategic key projects completed by the administration of Governor Peter Mbah, was a harvest of infrastructure, bordering on human development and security.

At former Government Technical College, the President symbolically inaugurated 30 fully completed and equipped Enugu Smart Green Schools, part of a larger initiative involving 260 schools under construction across the State.

He also commissioned 90 urban roads at the New Haven Junction, marking a significant milestone in the state’s development efforts.

At the Independence Layout, President Tinubu inaugurated the newly completed Enugu International Conference Centre, a multi-auditorium facility designed to boost the state’s profile as a hub for international events.

The President rounded off the commissioning activities with the inauguration of a state-of-the-art Command and Control Centre, along with 150 patrol vehicles equipped with AI-enabled surveillance cameras, all aimed at strengthening security across the state.

President Tinubu also met with leaders and elders of the South East in a stakeholders’ forum where he likened Nigeria to a family home with many rooms, urging citizens to work together in building a unified and prosperous nation for today and future generations.

President Tinubu departed Enugu State impressed with the development strides, leaving behind a message of unity, hope, and growth for the nation.
