Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu says his administration is committed to implementing policies and projects that impact positively and improve the living standard of citizens across the country.
The President was speaking at the official flag-off ceremony of the 35kilometre access road linking the 2nd Niger bridge in Anambra State, Southeast Nigeria.
The 35 kilometers access road linking the second Niger Bridge through Anambra State to Delta State is a 17.5 kilometers by dual carriageway, bypassing the ever busy Onitsha commercial city of the State.
President Tinubu who was represented by the Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo described the road project as very critical, aimed at ending the persistent gridlock on the first Niger Bridge which will inturn bring a sigh of relief to road users
To achieve a sustainable and all inclusive society, the President says it requires the collaboration and partnership of all stakeholders to make it happen.
The Minister of Works, Dave Umahi commended Governor Soludo on his developmental strides within his three years in office, pledging the Federal government’s continued partnership to improving the lives of the people.
The Anambra State axis of the 35 kilometres second Niger bridge bypass road project will traverse Atani, Obosi, Nkpor, Ogidi, Ogbunike to Nkwelle junction along the Onitsha-Enugu Expressway.
