President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Lagos to participate in key events, including the commissioning of major infrastructure projects and the golden jubilee celebrations of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).
The President was received by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his deputy, Obafemi Hamzat at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport.
During his visit, President Tinubu will commission Section I of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway and the Lekki Deep Sea Port Tax Credit Concrete Road.
He will also flag off Section II of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway and the 7th Axial Road.
Additionally, the President will virtually commission other projects, including roads in Kano and surrounding areas.

As the Chairman of ECOWAS, President Tinubu will lead the celebrations marking the bloc’s 50th anniversary.
The events will feature a reenactment of the 1975 declaration at the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs and a main event at Eko Hotels and Suites.
The President’s visit coincides with the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations, which he will observe at the State House in Dodan Barracks before returning to Abuja.
The ECOWAS golden jubilee celebrations will bring together regional leaders, dignitaries, and stakeholders to reflect on the bloc’s progress and future directions.
