President Tinubu, represented by the Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, commended TETFund for its contributions towards advancing educational development in Nigeria, emphasizing the significance of education in the proposed 2024 projects.

“TETFund is playing vital roles in our educational system. TETFund has over the years played the role of bridging the gap of infrastructure development in our tertiary institutions. Your commitment to the quality of infrastructure delivery is quite commendable”, the Minister said.

The Executive Secretary of TETFund, Arc. Sonny Echono, represented by Mallam Buhari Mikhailu, expressed optimism that the projects would facilitate efficient teaching and learning at the institution, while charging the management to maintain the facilities.

“The three projects …. are those executed under the merged annual interventions, which amounts to a total cost of 1.5 Billion naira, all delivered successfully inline with Tetfund guidelines”

The projects include; the 2012 – 2015 ICT merged annual interventions, a Library complex, and the Faculty of Education, all executed at the Permanent site of the University.
