Just a few days after the appointment of Brigadier-General Lawal Ja’afar Isa (Rtd) as the Executive Secretary of the National Commission for Almajiri and Out of School Children Education, President Bola Tinubu has moved Isa to now serve as Chairman of the Board of the Commission.
Idris Muhammad Sani is then appointed the Executive Secretary/CEO.
A statement by the President’s spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale says President Bola Tinubu gave the approval on Monday at the State House, Abuja.
General Ja’afar Isa had previously served as the Military Administrator of Kaduna State from 1993 to 1996.
ait.live reports that the new Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the Almajiri Commission, Muhammad Sani holds Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Islamic Studies. He was the Director-General, Al-Iman School Lafia; a former Commissioner for Basic/Secondary Education in Yobe State; and the Chairman of the Nigerian Arabic Language Village.
