The Governor-Elect of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo has said he is coming as a servant, to serve Edo people, which is what is required of him, assuring that is exactly what he is going to do.
The Governor-elect told State House Correspondents on Thursday, after a meeting with President Bola Tinubu that very soon, there will be developments in Edo State.
Asked if he would work with the opposition Party in the State, Senator Okpebholo said only if their idea was a beautiful one.
Senator Monday Okpebholo was on the visit to the President in the company of Senator Adams Oshiomhole; the Chairman of the Governor’s Forum, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, and other State Governors under the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Thursday issued Certificate of Return to the Edo State Governor-elect, Monday Okpebholo, and his Deputy, Dennis Idahosa.
