President Bola Tinubu has sacked the pioneer National Coordinator of National Counter-Terrorism Centre, Rear Admiral Yaminu Ehinomen Musa (Rtd) under Office of National Security Adviser who was appointed in August 2022 by President Muhammadu Buhari.


This follows the appointment of Major-General Adamu Garba Laka as the new National Coordinator of the National Counter-Terrorism Centre.
General Laka served in various capacities in North-East Nigeria, he also served in Sierra Leone and the Democratic Republic of Congo under the United Nations and was part of the Nigerian contingent in the United States AFRICOM exercise in Senegal.
He holds Master’s Degrees in National Security from the National Defence University, Pakistan, and in International Affairs and Strategic Studies from the Nigerian Defence Academy.
