President Bola Tinubu is scheduled to address the nation in a televised broadcast on Democracy Day.
The broadcast is scheduled for 7 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12.
In a statement released by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, it was announced that television, radio stations and other electronic media outlets should tune in to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, (FRCN), to air the presidential broadcast.
The Democracy Day address by the President is a long-standing tradition in Nigeria, marking the country’s journey towards democratic governance, and reflecting on the progress made in consolidating democratic principles and values.
