Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, says he is optimistic about the final resolution of the impasse between Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, and members of the State House of Assembly, following the intervention of President Bola Tinubu.
The Minister expressed confidence that the ongoing efforts will bring lasting peace, noting that this should be the last time Rivers State people will have to contend with political discord in the state.
Wike spoke after inspecting the N5 Road project from Life Camp Junction to Ring Road Three, alongside other ongoing projects in Abuja.
